Babylon Seamstress

Babylon Seamstress was the second song written for the EP and began as a bit of a fun attempt at a pop punk song, similar to Weezer and Fall Out Boy. Written with a typical pop-punk chord structure (1-3-6-4) and not really changing a lot lyrically in the choruses, the song focuses on building by having layers of dynamic development in each section

Firstly just my vocal and an acoustic guitar, I sent the demo to my friend Dave to see if he had any idea for the songs electric and bass parts. Which can be heard below:

After working through some of these Ideas with Dave, we headed into a rehearsal space to record with my other friend Joel who's a drummer. The explaining of how we recorded the guide tracks can be seen here.
