Basilisk
I wanted Basilisk to be a song that was tonally confessional. Something of an honest conversation with someone. So I tried both an acoustic version and piano version, however my performance on both was a little rough due to being ill at the time. Regardless, that's part of the character of the song, it's a confession of brokenness, the realisation that hope is only found after the reality of grief. That an imperfect confession is better then being silent.
