Mastering The Tracks

Mastering the songs was a bigger challenge then anticipating, but I've always been warned about mastering the songs you mix, let alone create, perform and produce. Borrowing a signal path technique taught by my lecturer I employed several multi-band compressors targeting different frequency bands in each song, and the Manley Variable MU as a valve compressor giving general slow compression improving the overall RMS.

All the songs were then finalised at home by levelling them to the standards set by streaming services. Some comparisons of mixes before and after mastering can be heard below:
