The Joy Of A Mistake

This interlude is attributed to the playing of my friend Nathan Flynn while we were having dinner one night with our friends. We had just finished dinner and Nathan went into my living room to play the out of tune piano in the house. He recorded some chords for a song he was making and in the process made a mistake that caused all of us to laugh.

I loved the moment so asked if I could keep the audio to have as an interlude in the EP. 

I wanted a cool delayed effect at the end of the interlude but after trying a few techniques with the Ultra Harmonizer from Eventide, It ended up losing some of the charm of the moment. Maybe you can hear what I mean listening to samples below:

Either way, I ended up leaving it as is and simply mastering it with some compression.

So there it is, a fun moment with friends.
